Why Aerate & Fertilize?
Aeration loosens the roots of the grass to allow nutrients, air, and water into the lawn. It also allows seed and fertilizer granules to get deeper into the soil.
Fertilization provides additional nutrients to the lawn such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium after aeration.
Both are essential to ensure a healthy, green lawn!
When to Aerate & Fertilize?
Warm-Season Grass Aeration is typically done between mid Spring to end of Summer.
Examples of warm-season grasses include: Bermuda, Zoysia, and St. Augustine.
Cool-Season Grass Aeration is typically done in Fall
Examples of cool-season grasses include: Fescue, Kentucky Bluegrass, and Ryegrass.
